The October dinner meeting was under the direct of the Legislative Committee. Guestbook was Dianne Simon. Dianne Simon was the hostess. Debbie Ulmer presented the program for the evening. The program was the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote.

Katie Kirby, secretary, read the correspondence and action items for the October Board meeting.
Michelle Abney was installed as a new member.
Dianne Simon won the 50/50 drawing. Mary Merritt won the October birthday drawing.
Robin Balke asked for awards and notices to be sent to her to share on the SBW Facebook page.
The Business Women’s Week Committee will postpone the social until Spring. The schedule for Business Women’s Week will be posted on the Website, Facebook page, and in the newspaper. Some events require reservations.
Carolyn Green reminded everyone to sign up to work the Chicken Dinner and to nominate people for Woman and Business of the Year. Dessert for the Chicken Dinner can be dropped off on Saturday.
Mickayla Peters owner of AddieCakes, was featured in an article in the Sedalia Democrat. She and made the lovely and delicious cake for the dinner meeting.
The November dinner meeting will be under the direction of the Public Relations Committee, Chairmen Lori Haney. The November Board Meeting will be held on November 2nd at 5:30 at the Shriner’s Pro Shop.
