
Debbie Ulmer, president, called the Sedalia Business Women’s November dinner meeting to order at 6:29 p.m. Joyce Grinstead, chaplain, gave the invocation. Debbie Ulmer led the club in the Club Collect followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Carolyn Green introduced the guests.
The November dinner meeting was under the direction of the Public Relations Committee, Lori Haney, chair.
Brandy and David Von Holten were guest of the club. Brandy was the guest speaker and gave an interesting presentation about overcoming challenges and persevering as a female entrepreneur.

Public Relations Chair Lori Haney presented the November dinner meeting guest speaker, Brandy Von Holten, an honorarium which Brandy requested be donated to “The Unleashed Series.” The Unleashed Series was originally envisioned as a single workbook intended for incarcerated women. That vision has expanded to almost a dozen workbooks for women everywhere.
Shirley McCown and Roda Moore introduced Betty Albrecht of Woman of the Year. Debbie Ulmer provided a gift for Betty Albrecht.

Carolyn Green introduced WK as the Business of the Year and provided them a gift.

Amanda Herrick won the birthday drawing.
State President Donna Hirner- Gardner announced that Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th is the State Board Meeting and party to be held in Sedalia.
SBW served 531 chicken dinners! Of that total, 411 were to-go and drive-up orders. We had so many wonderful desserts that individuals who attended bought whole pies and cakes, and that added to the chicken dinner proceeds. Shrine club members bought the remaining chicken and vegetables.
