Debbie’s Presidental Message<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

I have selected Support, Encourage and Compliment\nas my theme for my year as your 2025-2026 President.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you look in the dictionary, the word \u201csupport\u201d\nmeans to agree with, approve of, or encourage someone or something. As members,\nwe support each other through agreement approvement and encouragement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word \u201cencourage\u201d means to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1.         Inspire with courage, spirit, or hope;\nhearten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2.         Make someone more determined, hopeful,\nor confident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.         Make something more appealing or more\nlikely to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I see the encouragement of our members by our\ninvolvement in so many community activities and increase in membership our\nmembers sponsor throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word \u201ccompliment\u201d is an expression of esteem,\nrespect, affection, or admiration. It is a comment intended to express praise\nor admiration of someone. As members, we compliment each other by our\ninvolvement and input that has made and still makes our organization the\nsuccess it has been since 1923.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Organization has supported, encouraged, and\ncomplimented me to do more than I thought I ever could and I am humbled and\nproud to once again be installed as your president for the 2025-2026 year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would encourage you as members to support,\nencourage, and compliment each other, and let\u2019s increase our membership through\nthose very same words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The focus of the May 1 Dinner Meeting was the\ninstallation of the 2025-2026 President Debbie Ulmer and the officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was Sedalia Business Women\u2019s first meeting as\na separate entity having left Business Women of Missouri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presiding over her last dinner meeting during her\nterm as 2024-2025 SBW President Janice Cones gave the welcome to the May dinner\nmeeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2024-2025 BWM President Michelle Sparks\npresented membership awards to members who had recruited new members. The SBW\nClub received a member retention award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former SBW President Lori Haney was the presiding\nofficer of the 91st<\/sup> SBW president, Debbie Ulmer and the officers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0In honor of May Day, Rhoda Moore had prepared a May Pole and beautiful table decorations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
