President Debbie Ulmer called the meeting to order at 6:30 at the Shrine Multipurpose Building. Joyce Grinstead gave the invocation. Carolyn Green introduced the guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeff Wimann of the Lions Club spoke briefly\nconcerning the opportunity for Sedalia Business Women to have their name on a\nsign being erected on the west side of town on Highway 50. The City of Sedalia\nhas donated land to the Lions Club for the \u201cWelcome\u201d sign with 12 service clubs\nlisted. Sedalia Business Women can have their name on the sign for a one-time\ncost of $1,000. The Board recommended having our club listed on the sign and\nthe membership unanimously voted to approve the cost of the sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guest speaker was Dr. Misty Todd who presented\nan interesting and informative program. Dr. Todd is the program director for\nimplementing Missouri\u2019s first Rural Training Track Residency in Family Medicine\nProgram, now in its fourth year at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Lori\nWightman, CEO Bothwell Regional Health Center, also spoke briefly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michelle Franklin, Finance Committee chair,\nproposed the SBW budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.&nbsp; After discussion, the membership voted to\napprove the budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New name tags have been ordered for the members\nwith the new teal colored logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamie Anderson won the wreath donated by Krista\nEschbacher. The $66 raised will be donated to Community Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SBW social will be at the Wildlife Ridge Winery on June 28.
