The guest speaker was Megan Page, Pettis County Clerk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Governor Kehoe appointed Megan as Pettis County\nClerk. She gave an interesting and informative presentation about her duties as\nPettis County Clerk. The clerk has a long list of duties, in addition to\nelections. Some of the responsibilities included to sign and certify commission\nminutes, proclamations, monthly collector reports, school audit documentation,\nand many other duties that none of us suspected was a part of the tasks\nassigned to the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan donated her speaker\u2019s honorarium to the Boys &amp; Girls Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" src=\"http:\/\/sedaliabwm.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0236-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6035\" srcset=\"http:\/\/sedaliabwm.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0236-2.jpg 1200w, http:\/\/sedaliabwm.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0236-2-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption>Dr. Brent Bates, SFCC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Brent Bates from State Fair Community College\nspoke about the upcoming tax levy. The tax levy will help the college obtain\ntheir mission and meet their goals and objectives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SFCC serves as a source of solutions, opportunities, and community enrichment. SFCC students enter the job field equipped with the technical and essential skills employers seek. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Business Women\u2019s Week will be celebrated October 19-26. The week will begin with the Annual Chicken Dinner Sunday October 19. Monday will be lunch with Rotary and the Mayor\u2019s Proclamation signing. The past presidents\u2019 dinner is on Tuesday. Wednesday is friendship lunch at Mazzio\u2019s. Thursday is a pumpkin painting party at the Garlich Activity Center. Friday donations for the president\u2019s chosen non-profits will be finalized. Saturday is a dinner social at the Sedalia Country Club.
