The November dinner meeting of Sedalia Business Women was under the direction of the Public Relations Committee, Faith Bemiss, chair.
The Club was excited to announce that Joyce Grinstead was chosen as the SBW Woman of the Year and that the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office was chosen as the Employer of the Year.
President Julie Slocum presented a check and leggings to Smith Cotton Junior High School Social Worker, Denise Woolery.
Michelle Sparks, President of the Business Women of Missouri, gave an update on upcoming events.
The Club extended appreciation to Jamie Anderson for preparing the November 1st meal for the Community Café. A big thank you to the members who donated the food items. The January menu will be soup.
