The guest speaker at Rotary was CSC Group President Brian Smith. He talked about the restoration of the Trust Building to its former grandeur. “We are both humbled and excited to have the opportunity to rehabilitate this unique and historic building,” he said in a press release.

Sunday, October 16th – Worship with SBW President, Donna Hirner-Gardner at First Baptist Church, 200 E. 6th St., Sedalia. (meet at 10:30 a.m.)
- Lunch at Fitter’s, 500 S. Ohio St., Sedalia (meet at noon)
Monday, October 17th – Lunch with Rotary Club, noon at Best Western, cost $9.00.
– Relax, Renew & Retreat 5 pm-8 pm @ Body Retreat 2, 618 W. 16th St., Sedalia
There was something for everyone and ”it was free”! You may choose to join in a Zumba Gold class @ 5 p.m. or a beginner’s Yoga class @ 6 p.m. Others may enjoy checking out the Passive Exercise/mobility tables or try out the new Circuit exercise equipment. Then of course there is always the option of just relaxing and renewing friendships while enjoying some refreshments.
Tuesday, October 18 Past Presidents’ Dinner at Ivory Grille, Sedalia. This is by invitation of President, Donna Hirner-Gardner to honor past SBW presidents. (Invitations will be mailed and reservations are needed.)
Wednesday, October 19 –– Membership Tea:“Ladies Bunco Night” at Sedalia Shrine Club.
Cost $5.00. Remember to invite prospective members.
Thursday, October 20 — Friendship Lunch at El Espolon, 2400 S. Limit, Sedalia, 11:30 a.m. No reservations needed. Bring your friends.
Friday, October 21 — Finalize Service Project for CACTUS .
Please plan to attend as many events as possible. We encourage you to invite family, friends and prospective members to join in the activities.
